What sets us aside from competitors? We aim to be just as aesthetic as we are functional 🤍👏🏻

So what actually goes into making a world-first product in Australia?
1. It all starts with an idea.. An initial concept pulled straight from my brain and handed to an engineer.
2. Next came the 3D prints (we did countless of these, truly unimaginable amounts).
3. My engineer working from another state, used whatever resources he could get his hands on.
4. We re-imagined the concept.
5. The model got significantly smaller to maximise basin workflow.
6. Finally, we had a clip shape to work from.
7. Cue: a whole lot of issues to iron out.
8. Prototypes took 15+ hours to print, then were shipped from Melbourne to Perth… only to break at the slightest bump (more times than I can count).
9. Still not loving it.. brush holes felt clunky, and I wanted to optimise space.
10. Tray design #5 introduced a toner bottle hole and a reworked brush hole.
11. Clips started showing promise. I even shipped multiple basins to my engineer (sorry 😅), and he befriended local Melbourne salons and suppliers to test.
12. The clips worked, but I wanted more security so, back to the drawing board.
13. Once we were 100% happy, we built our tooling right here in WA.
14. At LAST our first fully functional prototype.
15. Time for endless test runs.
16. (Still tweaking basin security at this point.)
17. Our manufacturer showed me just how durable our “secret sauce” really was — did you know our trays are glass-filled? 🫣
18. We did our first photoshoot with the only trays we had — one was even a superglued prototype that didn’t survive a fall.
19. Then, the leap: we started manufacturing and launched that same week 🥹. The proudest moment of my life and we sold out within a fortnight.
